16. DWI DUI OWI OUI Drunk Driving REPEAT 2nd X OFFENDER COURSE DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Take this class if you were ordered by the judge to take a repeat offender DWI class. This class is for repeat DWI offenses and/or others who have alcohol/drug-related problems, for which the alcohol awareness education class does not suffice. The purpose is to intervene in alcohol or drug-abusing lifestyles in order to encourage treatment as well as prevent further substance abuse-related problems. Course topics include lifestyle, self-esteem, positive thinking vs. irrational beliefs, worthiness, the effects of drugs, alcoholism, chemical dependency, how drug abuse affects family members, co-dependency, treatment options, relapse prevention, and powerful action planning steps to take for a better life! *IF YOU ARE UNSURE HOW MANY HOURS TO TAKE, WE RECOMMEND GENERAL STUDIES (a range from 10-12 hours course content).
